We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves (whom we know as God) can restore us to sanity and wholeness.

Step 2 - Prayer

Heavenly Father,
I know in my heart that only you can restore me to sanity.

I humbly ask that you remove all twisted thought and
addictive behavior from me this day.
Heal my spirit and restore in me a clear mind.

A Prayer For The Gift Of Wisdom

Absolute and all knowing God,
Nothing is hidden from Your sight.
In the prescience since the beginning,
All knowledge existed within You.
Kindly share Your knowledge with me,
Making me aware of what is meant to be,
Permitting my soul to understand it,
And wisdom to agree with its outcome.
Provide me with the gift of discretion,
To prudently apply received knowledge,
To ensure the fulfillment of Your Will.
Your knowledge shines forth forever!

ADONAI...You make me lie down.

How restful that sounds.

How peaceful.

Lying in the sweet scent of fresh grass
beside still waters.

I know the deserts are
dry
and grass can be
sparse.

But You find those places
that have
just what my body needs.

Nourishing food.

Refreshing water.

Why do I keep thinking that I need...
more?
More than You provide?

for not trusting You
and believing always that
You ARE meeting
my
REAL
needs!

for what You
